Use these resources to help your K-2 students engage with their Detective Pad (Dpad) and get more out of the Career Town locations by understanding and reflecting on content that is meaningful to them.

In these activities, students will complete classroom discussions and activities related to the Art, Badges, Clues, and Stickers that they collect while playing Career Town, as well as learn more about themselves and the careers they encounter.

Tip: These Xello K-2 Activity lesson plans work well in tandem with our Lesson resources. These resources include discussion prompts, vocabulary, and pre- and post-location activities.

Dpad: About me	15 - 20 mins	How can answering questions about myself help me understand who I am? How have my likes, dislikes, and interests changed over time?
Dpad: People	20 - 25 mins	Which careers have I learned about in Career Town? Can some careers fit into more than one path?
Dpad: My art	15 - 20 mins	How can I express myself through art?
Dpad: My badges	15 - 20 mins	What is a career path? What kinds of things do you enjoy doing?
Dpad: My clues	15 - 20 mins	What is an educated guess? How can you use clues to figure out a mystery?
Dpad: My stickers	25 - 30 mins	What skills do people use at their jobs? How can workers use the same skills at different jobs?
