Xello's Compass+ report is a powerful, quick, and easy way to track your students’ progress against the Gatsby Benchmarks. The report draws together data on students’ work towards completing lessons in Xello. It also tracks work and volunteer experiences entered on students’ Experiences Timeline.
The report is fully compatible with the Careers & Enterprise Company’s Compass+ tool.

Get the most out of your Compass+ report
To get the most out of the Compass+ report, we recommend that you:
- Prioritise Xello's Lessons according to your requirements for students' exposure to the benchmarks. See how Lessons are mapped to benchmarks in the section below.
- Encourage students to actively add Work Experience and Volunteer Experience to their Experiences Timeline (located on their About Me page).
By focusing efforts on the above, you can help guide your students to complete the most relevant Lessons first, which will drive engagement and produce the best results for your Compass+ report.
In addition, encouraging use of the Experiences Timeline means you'll be ensuring that the report you export for Compass+ includes student progress towards achieving Gatsby Benchmark 6 (Experience of workplaces).
