Lesson progress reports cover everything to do with Lessons. View how many students have not yet started their lessons, how many are in progress, and how many have completed them. Narrow the data by lesson, by grade, or by individual student.

noteNote: If you're accessing Xello at the region or district level, the report Completion by site is also available. Narrow the data to a school or institution within your region or district. If you do not see this option, you may not have access.

There are three ways to further narrow the data in this Lesson Progress table:

  • Use the Core lessons dropdown and click All lessons to view all active lessons
  • Click on a grade to view all the students in that grade and their lesson progress
  • Under a status column (All complete, In progress, or Not started), click the number in that cell to see the list of students in that grade who have completed lessons based on the status you're interested in

Run a summary report

Reports for Xello K-2

In Career Town, students can reset the game to play it again as many times as they'd like. When you run a report on lesson progress for students in K-2, the results will be from the first time the student played. A student resetting the game does not reset the report for the educator.

For the K-2 Lessons, students explore the six locations in Career Town. A lesson is complete when the student has finished all the activities in the location. Check out How to play Xello K-2 to learn more about what students complete in the Career Town locations.

For Xello K-2, in the Lesson completion report, the statuses for completion are as follows:

  • All complete: every Career Town location has been completed
  • In progress: some of the Career Town locations have been completed
  • Not started: none of the Career Town locations have been completed
