For institutions that are out-of-network and not by email, you have the option to record how the transcript was sent and the date it was sent. From their end in Xello, the student can view what date you sent the transcript to the institution and how you sent it. They'll also see any notes you add about the delivery.
To record how a transcript was sent:
- From your educator account, click Features and select College Planning.
- Or, from your dashboard, click the College Planning card.
- Next to Transcripts, click Manage.
- From the Requests tab, browse or use the search bar directly above the student list to locate the student whose transcript sent date you're recording.
- From the far right of the student name, click the three dot icon and select Record as sent.
- From the calendar, select the date the transcript was sent.
- The student will be able to view the date of the sent transcript from their account.
- From the dropdown, select the method you used to send the transcript.
- Add any important notes about the delivery, like a confirmation number. Students and other educators will able to read your note.
