This fully customizable feature will be launching this summer in time for the new school year!

1. Centralized task list

All assigned tasks will appear in a centralized task list on each student’s dashboard, helping them stay organized and on track. Tasks are linked to Xello activities and are automatically marked as complete once the associated activity (e.g., Matchmaker) is finished.

2. Enhanced reporting

A streamlined interface enables educators to track progress by student, task, grade, school, or group, making it easier to monitor and report on student achievements.

3. Quick resource access

Lesson plans, videos, and learning resources can be easily accessed through the Completion Standards configuration and reporting sections in Xello educator tools, making activity planning and delivery more convenient.

4. New submission types

Different options for submitting custom lessons, portfolios, and tasks, including uploading files, entering text, acknowledging completion, or selecting a portfolio make it easier to collect student work.

5. Educator approvals

Lessons, custom lessons, and tasks can be set to require educator approval to ensure that students are meeting the required standards with greater accountability.

6. Student exemptions

Educators can exempt students from tasks and lessons individually or in bulk, providing flexibility and personalized learning paths.

A retake option for assessment-related tasks, configurable by Xello staff, ensures that students' career suggestions reflect their current interests and desired skills.
