My ICP Activity Lesson Plan (6th-11th Grade)
In this activity students learn how to develop their Individualized Career Plan (ICP), by bringing together the elements outlined in Pa. Code Chapter 4 - Career Education and Work Academic Standards into a Xello Portfolio. This activity can be introduced to students as early as 6th grade with ongoing development and reflection throughout middle and high school. Using Xello's Portfolios, students can reflect on their future plans while showcasing artifacts from their completed activities in Xello. They can also include selected work that supports their transition to postsecondary education or the workplace, or both.
