As an educator, understanding student progress and trends in career and financial planning is key. Use The Real Game reports to give you valuable insights into your students' work with Quick sims and other activities. These reports can help you guide classroom discussions, identify areas where students might need more support, and understand overall student engagement.

There are four different Quick sims reports you can run:

  • Quick sims by student: view individual student progress and the different Quick sims they have saved.
  • Quick sims by grade: get an overview of Quick sim activity across different grade levels.
  • Quick sims by career: view which careers are most popular or frequently explored in Quick sims.
  • Quick sims by pathway: view the educational pathways students are exploring within their Quick sims.

To run a report on Quick sims in The Real Game:

  1. From your educator account, click Reports and select Student work.
left menu open in educator account. Report dropdown open and Student work being selected

  2. Scroll towards the bottom of the page to find The Real Game.
  3. Click Select report and choose the report you'd like to view.
  4. Drill down the data in the report by clicking the link in a row. For example:
    • In the by student report, click a student name to open their profile and view their work.
    • In the by grade report, click the grade link to view all the students who have completed a sim and which career or pathway they chose.
    • In the by career report, click the career name to view which students have saved that career.
    • In the by pathways report, click the pathway name so you can view the students who chose that pathway.

To make these reports even more useful, you can use Filters. Depending on the report you're in, you can narrow the list by grade, group, when the sim was last updated, or even if the student's expenses have exceeded their income.

Use the Data options menu to add or remove columns in the table. Or you can export the data to an Excel or CSV file.
