Manage opportunity settings

Learn how to manage opportunity settings in Xello, such as allowing student-created opportunities.

noteNote: This is for educators who are assigned the role of WRL Administrator. To learn more, about WRL permissions, check out Work-related learning roles.

You can turn on the ability for students to add their own opportunities they've found outside of Xello.

To allow students to add their own sourced opportunities:

  1. From your educator account, click Features and select Work-related learning.

  2. At the top right corner, click Settings.

  3. Next to Student-created opportunities, click Manage to open the student list of opportunities.
  4. Click the box next to each student who you would like to enable opportunity creation for.
    • You can narrow the student list by clicking Filters. Once you've narrowed the list, click the box next to Selected (0) to select the entire list of filtered students.
  5. Click the Opportunity creation dropdown and select Enable or Disable.
  6. A modal will open confirming you want to enable opportunity creation for the students. To confirm, click Ok.
